This document is the official schedule of events for the 2019-2020 Scholastic Anglers Challenge Season. To accommodate for the weather, some Scholastic Anglers Tournament Series event dates have been adjusted in an effort to avoid any conflicts with weather concerns. This has moved some tournament dates just outside of the traditional school year calendar six weeks grading period time frames.
All Scholastic Anglers Tournament Series events will be announced at the Scholastic Anglers Workshop meeting on the Thursday just prior to the Scholastic Anglers Tournament Series event on the following Saturday. The official start time will be 8:00 AM. The official end time will be 11:30 AM. The official weigh-in ceremony will be held from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Student-anglers should arrive at 7:45 AM for official sign-in and registration.
All Scholastic Anglers Workshops will be held on the third Thursday of each month throughout the school year at Boater's Marine, 134 Pedro Street #A, Monroe, NC 28110 (704-282-0967) from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In order to be eligible for end of the year honors, student-anglers must attend five (5) out of the Eight (8) workshops.
